Consider your relationship to these terms. Look up their dictionary definitions. Consult a thesaurus.
Where do you feel most comfortable and 'at home'? Cityscapes? Wild open wild places?
Are there particular kinds of public places or spaces that you respond to, that evoke memories, or say something important about who you are? The library? A local place of worship? A certain neighborhood? The mall? The train station? Hospitals? Convenience stores? Hallway, doorways, back alleys?
Are there personal spces you can document? What do the contents of your refrigerator say about you? What would we learn from examining your closet? Where you sleep? Under the covers in your bed? The objects on your bathroom sink?
Think expansively about what a personal 'landscape' might or could be; how the terms personal 'space' and 'place' might be interpreted and inscribed.

1. emptiness and comfort within confinement.
2. overwhelming options - I have nothing to wear. I am stranded, a naked island in a sea of materialism.
3. traditional landscape - still and distant.
This prompt was hard and confusing to me this week because I couldn't quite figure out how to navigate the balance of a general landscape versus a personal space. They are interconnected under the umbrella term of landscape yet so different. I created two pictures of personal landscape and one of a general landscape. I had much trouble configuring the second image but it turned out well to my pleasure. I have to say, I love the golden color vibe it gives off and I learned that there'es a lot more to the photo when analyzed afterwards than what I even conceived in the beginning.
